POTSDAM — St. Lawrence County residents are finally going to see some spring sun and warmer weather this coming week on the heels of the last bout of winter flurries over the last few days, predicts the National Weather Service
More rain is possible today however, with a 30 percent chance of showers predicted after 4 p.m. Today will feature increasing clouds with a high near 43. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are possible.
Rain and snow showers are likely this evening, turning to all snow after 8 p.m. Skies will be cloudy during the early evening, then gradually clearing, with a low around 14. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch is possible.
Monday will roll in with sunny skies, with a high near 34. There will be a light southwest wind becoming west 8 to 13 mph in the morning.
Monday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 13. The southwest wind will push around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
More sun is expected Tuesday, with a high near 35. Tuesday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 17 and a light and variable wind.
Wednesday will be sunny, with a high near 44. Skies will be mostly clear later that night with a low around 28.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with temperatures climbing up to a balmy 53 degrees, North Country t-shirt weather in some circles.

Friday will feature a 30 percent change of showers, but skies will be party sunny with a high near 56. A 40 percent chance of showers and mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night.
