GOUVERNEUR – Credentialed substance use counselor Samantha Green, CASAC-T, has joined St. Lawrence Health System’s substance use disorder team at Gouverneur Hospital.

“I am excited to be starting my career at St. Lawrence Health System’s Gouverneur Hospital,” Green said. “The substance use disorder program here is person-centered and works with each individual as a whole. We teach our patients how to improve their lives through support, and to focus on finding the solution that works best for them.”

Green develops treatment plans, monitors patient outcomes, and leads crisis intervention. She also provides patients and their families with information and education to help them address their needs. She further works with state and community agencies to extend and enhance the support and treatment options available to her patients.

If you or a loved one are struggling with substance use, the substance use disorder team can help. They offer flexible telephone and telemedicine appointments from licensed clinicians who will work with you at any stage in your recovery. Call 315-353-2572 or 315- 261-6333 to schedule an appointment.
