St. Lawrence County Public Health Department reports one new case of COVID-19 on Sunday, May 3, bringing the new total to 185.

Six more people who had tested positive have been released from mandatory isolatio, bringing the total recoveries in the county to 118, public health said.

Four people are hospitalized with COVID-19, officials said.

Testing is done by appointment only. People who feel they have symptoms or feel they should be tested should call any of the following numbers between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.:

• Clifton-Fine Hospital: 315-848-8049

• St. Lawrence County Public Health Department: 315-229-3448

"It is very important all residents continue to stay home as much as possible, wear a face covering and stay 6 feet away from others when venturing out for groceries, medical care, or work, wash hands with soap for 20 seconds often, and clean & disinfect commonly touched surfaces regularly," public health said Sunday.
