CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging has a NY Connects program that provides information, assistance and referrals to available programs and services.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, many older adults are in need of food and resources.
Many local food pantries and neighborhood centers are offering curbside pickup or delivery services.
If you or someone you know is in need of food, reach out to the office at 315-386-4730.
NY Connects staff will connect them with all available resources.
The Office for the Aging provides service and advocacy for county residents 60 years and older.
Programs and services includes: Nutrition Centers and Home Delivered Meals; Home Care Services; Family Caregiver Support; Medical Transportation; Legal Services; Health Insurance Information Counseling and Assistance.
The Office’s mission is to develop a service system specifically designed to best meet the social and human needs of the elderly.
