Rain showers will quickly end from west to east this morning across St. Lawrence County with clearing skies by this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Expect a high near 65 today with southwest winds of 13 to 15 miles per hour, the service says.

High pressure builds into the area tonight with areas of fog likely, along with cool temperatures around 48, NWS says.

Forecasters say a beautiful Wednesday is on tap with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures.

The chances for rain showers return for Thursday into the upcoming weekend with temperatures trending back below normal.
