MASSENA -- A detour will be installed on state Route 131 on April 22 as part of rehabilitation of the Massena Intake site.
The Massena Intake will be closed during the summer of 2019 as there are plans to rehabilitate the road, deck, sidewalks, curbs and drainage.
The boat launch will still be open. Access will be from county Route 43 (Town Line Road).
Rick Trauscht of BVR Construction Company, which is completing the work, says the detour is expected to be in place until December.
