OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center took advantage of National Physical Therapy Month to note the achievements of some if its Rehab Services staff.
• Therapists Jordan Pedersen and Megan Haught have completed the Level 1 Credentialed Clinical Course from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Therapist Trevor Johnson is seeking Level 1 Credentialed Clinical Course from the APTA, and Therapist Amy Doser is working on APTA’s Level 2 Credentialed Clinical Instructor Course.
• Stacey Rosenberger and Vania Fallon, Spech-Language Patologists, are the only SLP’s certified in McNeill Dysphagia swallowing program in northern New York.
The Rehab Services department is led by Therapist Erica Durant, who is also seeking Level 2 Credentialed Clinical Instructor Course from the APTA.
“In the ever-changing world of health care, one thing remains the same for our Rehab Services team, to provide innovative, excellent, and compassionate care for our patients,” said Durant. “I believe the longevity of the staff and continued dedication to further their skills and knowledge in specialty areas speaks directly to our mission here at Claxton-Hepburn ‘to enhance health and life with compassion and excellence.’”
