CANTON -- F.S. Banford Elementary School, 99 State St., is accepting pre-kindergarten and kindergarten registrations for the 2020-2021 school year.
Children who reside in the Canton School District and will be 4 years old (pre-kindergarten) and 5 years old (kindergarten) on or before Dec. 1, 2020, are eligible to attend school in the fall.
Parents and guardians are welcome to come to the Banford office anytime between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to fill out registration packets. Please bring the child’s birth certificate, records of immunization, proof of residency and custodial documentation with you.
Screenings for kindergarten will be done in early June.
Parents with children currently attending Pre-K at Canton Central will automatically be screened and placed in a Kindergarten classroom for fall. Pre-K students do not need to re-enroll.
