Eight Northern TRIBS Swimming club members attended the 2015 Colgate Classic at Colgate University in Hamilton June 6-7.
“It was a long weekend for our swimmers, each swimming a total of eight events in two days, and we had a lot of good swims,” according to Joshua Jock who coaches the team. “It is tough competing in a 50-meter pool after only training in a 25-yard pool but these swimmers stepped up to the challenge and had a great experience with some fast times,” he said.
They earned a total of 17 ribbons at this meet placing in the top six of their events; six of which were for first place finishes, Jock said.
