POTSDAM — The Potsdam Central School Board of Education approved several additional winter coaches for the 2019-20 season.
Steve Besaw was appointed as a non-paid coach with the boys varsity hockey team. He served in this same capacity last season.
Conrad Stuntz will serve as an assistant coach for boys swimming. He was a non-paid coach for the team last season and has all necessary certifications and will be paid $2,688.
Breanne Sapp was appointed as a non-paid coach for the varsity girls basketball team. Sapp is a former student-athlete for PCS and currently works for Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Her appointment is pending completion of requirements necessary for a temporary coaching license.
The board approved Hannah Marcellus as a non-paid coach for the Junior Varsity Girls Basketball team. She is a former student-athlete for Madrid-Waddington Central and is enrolled at SUNY Potsdam where she competed on the basketball team her freshman year. Her appointment is pending completion of requirements necessary for a temporary coaching license.
