POTSDAM – The Town Council has accepted the resignation of a highly regarded member of the town Zoning Board of Appeals, as she is moving away from the area.
Cindy Vivlamore is moving to Florida, and Supervisor Ann Carvill said the town is losing a highly competent and hard-working volunteer.
At the town board’s meeting Monday night, Carvill said when the town undertook revision of its zoning regulations, Vivlamore “attended an enormous number of meetings and put in innumerable hours” on the task, “guiding us through the process when no one else had the time or the competence to do” that highly technical work.
“She will be missed,” Carvill said.
The board appointed Adam Cook to serve the remainder of Vivlamore’s term, through Dec. 31, 2021.
