NORFOLK -- Norwood village police arrested a Norfolk man for an alleged assault after a domestic violence incident March 24.
Wayne R. Henry Jr., 40, of 6604 State Route 56, Apt. 2, was charged with second-degree assault, a class D felony.
Police said Henry punched an ex-girlfriend in the face during an argument, fracturing her jaw.
Henry was arraigned in Norfolk town court and held without bail due to numerous prior felony convictions, police said.
An order of protection was issued for the victim and her family.
Henry is to answer the charges in St. Lawrence County Court at a later date.
