OGDENSBURG — One person was killed and two others were hospitalized following a two vehicle personal-injury accident on State Highway 37 Sunday morning, according to Ogdensburg police.
Police said they received a report of an accident on SH 37 near Bridge Approach Road shortly after 2:30 a.m.
The investigation revealed that a pickup truck and a four-door sedan collided, officers said.
The driver and a passenger in the pickup truck were seriously injured, police said.
One person was airlifted to the University of Vermont and the other was transported to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, police said.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, police said.
The names of the deceased and injured are being held at this time until all next of kin have been notified, officers said.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
