St. Lawrence County Public Health Department reports one new case of COVID-19 on Tuesday, May 5.
That brings the total to 186. Four cases are hospitalized.
St. Lawrence County Board of Health President Dr. Andrew Williams reported on Monday that over 3,000 people have been tested in the county.
Testing is done by appointment only. People who feel they have symptoms or feel they should be tested should call any of the following numbers between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.:
• St. Lawrence Health System: 315-261-6240
• Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center: 315-713-6655
• Clifton-Fine Hospital: 315-848-8049
• St. Lawrence County Public Health Department: 315-229-3448
"It is very important all residents continue to stay home as much as possible, wear a face covering and stay 6 feet away from others when venturing out for groceries, medical care, or work, wash hands with soap for 20 seconds often, and clean & disinfect commonly touched surfaces regularly," public health said.
