WINTHROP -- One driver was injured and one was ticketed following a two-car collision on state Route 11C in Winthrop on Sunday.
Shortly after 5 p.m., Jake T. McDonald, 21, of Frankfort, Ky. was traveling east on Route 11C in a 2016 Dodge Ram and Jessica N. Planty, 33, of Brasher Falls was heading west in a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser.
Troopers said McDonald went to turn left into the Stewart's parking lot and didn't yield to Planty, who had the right of way, and they collided.
Planty was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Tri-Town Rescue with abdominal pain and her vehicle was towed from the scene, troopers said.
