OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg Command Performance recently honored an Ogdensburg Journal reporter.
Larry Robinson received the group’s Franky Award for “extraordinary commitment to the Arts, especially to Ogdensburg Command Performance,” OCP officials said.
In Ogdensburg, The Journal’s support for the arts includes the FRAM, St. John’s Conservatory Theater, OCSD drama & music departments, and, of course, OCP and OCP’s Youtheatre: Class Acts.
“In an age when everything electronic is seen as superior the Johnson family of Watertown is to be applauded for their wisdom in realizing the importance of a community newspaper,” OCP said.
In honor of its founder and director of 27 years, Frank Schwartz, at the closing show of each season Ogdensburg Command Performances presents the Franky Award.
