OGDENSBURG -- The Friends of the Ogdensburg Public Library invite the public to its annual Fall Book Sale and Membership Drive at the Ogdensburg Public Library.
The Fall Book Sale and Membership Drive will run on Thursday, October 17 (5 pm to 8 pm); Friday, October 18 (9 am to 5 pm); Saturday, October 19 (9 am to 3 pm) and Monday, October 21 through Friday, October 25 (during regular Library hours) and on Saturday, October 26 (9 am to 3 pm).
For sale are hard cover ($3) and children’s books (50 cents), DVDs ($2), CDs and puzzles ($1). Remember “Friends” members receive 50% off purchases throughout the sale.
The Library is also seeking donations of books related to art and artist biographies, poetry and other non-fiction such as archaeology or physics.
The Bag Sale will be held on Saturday, October 26th (9AM to 3PM) – fill a bag for $5! Please note that the “Friends” 50% discount does not extend to the Bag Sale.
The Friends of the Ogdensburg Library will kick off its 2020 Annual Membership Drive on the first night of the Book Sale. Existing Friends are encouraged to renew their annual memberships, which run from January 1st through December 31st each year.
Annual Friends Reception for all Friends, both old and new, are invited to the Annual Friends Reception on Thursday, October 17th at 5 p.m. Some special Friends will be recognized for their contributions of time and talent.
