Hundreds of people had Thanksgiving dinner with the Ogdensburg Knights of Columbus and the OFA Key Club

OGDENSBURG -- Members of the Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club played a key role in helping the Ogdensburg Knights of Columbus provide more than 600 free dinners to shut-ins, the elderly and needy families on Thanksgiving Day.

"The Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club has a long history as a partner in assisting the Ogdensburg Knights of Columbus in helping area families on Thanksgiving Day," said an OFA Key Club spokesman. "Key Club members helped deliver the more than 400 meals that were delivered to people's homes across the greater Ogdensburg area. We were also very pleased to see a lot of our alumni and other members of the Kiwanis family who came out Thanksgiving Day to help with the annual event."

"While some of our members delivered meals to elderly shut-ins and others, some Key Clubbers served meals in the hall to about 150 people who at the Knights Hall. Our club members waited on tables and helped make sure no one was forgotten on Thanksgiving Day. Another 100 meals were picked up at the hall.”
