North Country This Week
OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg Department of Public Works was unable to complete brush pickup due to recent snowfall, but director Shane Brown said this week his crews will be working to finish it up.
Councilor Nichole Kennedy said she received questions from residents as to whether brush pickup had ended and noted that she still had debris that needed to be picked up.
Brown said crews have been working to get the brush picked up but much of it had been covered in snow. He said he is hopeful the snow will melt over the next week or so, but said if not, his crews will still be removing brush, snow and all.
According to the city's website residents may continue to place brush at the edge of the roadway until Nov. 17
Ogdensburg's brush pickup plan has been modified several times in recent years. For details on the policy visit Ogdensburg.org.
