OGDENSBURG – The Ogdensburg City School District Board of Education approved several personnel items at Monday’s meeting.
The board approved the retirement of secondary reading teacher Cheryl Claxton effective July 1. Claxton will have been employed by the district for 25 years at the time of her retirement.
Colleen Blevins was appointed school nurse at a salary of $44,828, while Sidney Sargent was also appointed school nurse at a salary of $40,486.50.
The board also approved the appointments of several seasonal laborers, one part-time on-call laborer and a substitute teacher at the meeting.
