NORWOOD -- The Norwood Village Green will present its 46th annual season this year with Bluegrass, Canadian folk music, local rock bands, big band and world music.

The oldest continuous outdoor series in Northern New York State, this season will feature the theme “And Crown Thy Good With Brotherhood,” said a press release from the series.

The theme is inspired by the United States Postal Service’s O Beautiful collection’s series of stamps representing America the Beautiful in one of the following depictions of its natural beauty: Spacious Skies, Waves of Grain, Mountain Majesties, The Fruited Plain, and Sea to Shining Sea. Melding America’s beauty with its diversity and its best traditions is the over-riding distinction of the series’ 46th Annual Season, the press release said.

Keeping with the theme, the series will feature music clusters of diversity from various parts of the world, while also presenting some very traditional and Americana performances.
