NORWOOD – Chris Durand and Faye Ori, otherwise known as Cubby T. Clown and Cuddles, have just completed one week-long training at Mooseburger Clown Arts Camp in Buffalo, Minn.
The intensive clown school is designed so beginners and experienced clowns can work and learn side-by-side in a challenging and inspiring environment.
Classes are taught on a wide range of subjects. Chris' main focus was on clowning magic and Faye's attention was directed to birthday parties and skits.
In addition, both clowns attended workshops on prop building, marketing, story telling and face painting.
Chris and Faye started clowning in 1998 after being cast in Watertown Lyric Theater's production of "Barnum, The Circus Musical." They relocated to Norwood shortly afterward and have been performing in the North Country and surrounding area ever since.
