NORWOOD – The Norwood-Norfolk Central School sports marketing class recently donated a bounce house for Claire's Fitness Fun Day on April 8.
Cory Rowsam, Claire's brother, and Jeffrey Reyome, the NNCS sports marketing class teacher, wanted to get the class involved in some way, at Claire's Fitness Fun Day.
"Since we are lucky enough to have so many volunteers this year, from Team Claire and great teachers pitching in too, I wanted them to come up with their own activity for the kids, but I was shocked at the generosity of these great students to donate a bounce house rental,” said event organizer Jamie Raymonda.
Claire's Fitness Fun Day to be held April 8 at Norwood-Norfolk Central from 1 to 4 p.m. The cost is $5 for kids and free for adults or kids three and under.
All proceeds benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in honor of first grade student, Claire Nezezon of Norwood.
Kids can try Zumba, hockey, basketball, Tae Kwon Do, an Obstacle Course and more! This year the first 100 kids will receive a prize for completing their "Fit for a Cure Scavenger Hunt."
There will also be a silent auction and raffle, autographs by the Clarkson women's hockey team, a snack bar, face painting, Disney princess appearances, and Easter crafts.
