NORWOOD — Voters Tuesday in the Norwood Library District approved a $1,000 increase Tuesday over the current $88,000 appropriation.

Over 250 people voted, with 177 yes and 82 no votes.

Three people were also elected to serve a three-year term on the board of trustees.

They are Denise diVincenzo, 211 votes; David Fenton, 195 votes; and Stephen Murray, 192 votes.

This was one of the biggest turnouts for voting with over 200 ballots cast.
