CANTON — North Country Congressional candidate Tedra Cobb raised more than $400,000 in the last 24 hours, according to a press release from her office.
Cobb, a Democrat from Canton, said following “Congresswoman Stefanik’s political stunt during yesterday’s hearings,” she received donations over $400,000 from more than 16,500 grassroots supporters, with an average donation of just $23.
“I am overwhelmed by the support we have received,” said Cobb. “Stefanik’s partisan political theatre is beneath the dignity of her office. She skipped several important private hearings— but with the cameras on, she repeatedly attempted to derail yesterday’s public hearings. Stefanik should take her oath to the constitution seriously and find all the facts in this grave matter of national security. The people of this district deserve better.”
