Nine more in St. Lawrence County test positive for COVID-19, local hospitals now have hotlines to request testing

Nine more people in St. Lawrence County have tested positive for COVID-19, the county Public Health Department announced Sunday afternoon.

There are now 118 people in the county who have tested positive out of 1,141 people tested, public health said.

Testing is being done through both St. Lawrence Health Systems and Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Testing is by appointment only. People who have symptoms or feel they should be tested should call the hotline numbers below between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.:

• St. Lawrence Health System: 315-261-6240

• Claxton Hepburn Medical Center: 315-713-6655

• St. Lawrence County Public Health Department: 315-229-3448
