POTSDAM – The appointments of a new village police officer and police dispatcher have been approved by the Board of Trustees.
Sean Owney will begin his police career at the first of the year at the police academy. His hiring as a full officer is dependent on his completion of those courses.
And Lindsey Levison has been approved to begin her duties as the newest Potsdam Police Department dispatcher.
Both appointments were approved at the board’s Dec. 2 meting.
