Celaya earned her post-master’s certification as a family nurse practitioner from Arizona State University, College of Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner, Tempe, Ariz. She is also certified in advanced life support and basic life support.
“I have a true commitment to community health and to my patients,” Celaya said. “For the past 13 years, of which the last four have been in upstate New York, I have experienced how Canton-Potsdam Hospital defines what a community hospital should look like,” she said.
“St. Lawrence Health System aligns with my goals to provide holistic care while promoting wellness, identifying gaps in health care, and meeting those needs through quality care.”
As a family nurse practitioner, Celaya works independently or in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to deliver family-focused care. She is able to offer a wide range of healthcare services from health promotion and disease prevention, to direct care and counseling. She is qualified to diagnosis and treat complex health conditions of the body and mind.
