MORRISTOWN -- A domestic violence incident where a man threatened two women with a stun gun has landed a Morristown man in jail without bail, according to state police.

Jude J. Holland, 60, is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony, as well as second- and third-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, misdemeanors. He is also charged with second-degree harassment, a violation, troopers said.

State police say they responded to Scotch Bush Road in Morristown for a report of two females running down the road, ages 18 and 39, both from Ogdensburg.

Holland and the females were involved in an altercation at 281 Stowe Road where he allegedly brandished a stun gun and threatened to use it, police said.

Both ran from the residence and down Scotch Bush Road, according to troopers.

The stun gun was seized as part of the investigation. Holland was arraigned by Morristown Justice James Phillips Jr. and remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, without bail.

He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 27. He is to re-appear in Morristown court on May 15 at 1 p.m., troopers said.
