POTSDAM --Metalworking Technology students at Seaway Technical Education Center recently performed the aluminum welding on a trailer donated by Leonard Orlando of Orlando Chiropractic.
Orlando allowed students to perform a complete overhaul of his 16-foot enclosed aluminum snowmobile trailer. The frame was in complete disrepair.
Students removed the existing frame and replaced it with a new aluminum frame. The axles of the trailer were refurbished by the Automotive Technologies I students and Building Trades II students added a new wooden deck inside of the trailer. Orlando presented a $250 Scholarship of Excellence in Metalworking Technologies. to the students.
