MASSENA -- The Kids Korner staff was among those who recently helped raise Autism awareness.
Andrea Fields, whose son has been diagnosed with Asperger's, created "Wear Blue Day" in support of her son.
The Kids Korner staff, as well as a number of other community members, supported the effort, said Fields.
The Kids Korner staff also started a FaceBook event encouraging participants to wear something blue to help raise awareness. By Tuesday, there were 331 people from all over the community and world -- even people from Sweden.

One in 88 children have autism and the month of April has been designated World Autism Awareness Month.
