OGDENSBURG -- Massena and Ogdensburg hospitals recently received donated cases of personal protective gowns from an Ottawa organization.
Dr. John Green, managing director of International Rescue of Ottawa, Ontario donated cases of personal protective gowns to Michael Lira, owner of Ogdensburg UPS Store.
Lira, in turn, gave 33 cases to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center and 30 cases to Massena Hospital.
“We extend a heartful thank you to our Canadian neighbors and our local UPS store for their unselfish gift,” said CHMC Facebook post.
