MASSENA – A 12-year-old Massena entrepreneur has come up with a creative and industrious way to raise money for a seventh grade class trip to Boston--she started her own online cupcake shop.
Camryn Peets has opened Cammie's Cupcakes, making a variety of mini and full-sized cupcakes and “bouquets” with flavors such as white chocolate raspberry, Snickers and Oreo.
Her online site allows customers to place orders and pay using credit cards and PayPal. Lots of photos of the cakes, along with detailed descriptions can be accessed there.
"I am 12 years old and have begun a small business doing what I love - baking and crafting (decorating and assembling bouquets!)," Peets writes on her site. "I started this as a fundraiser for my school trip to Boston, but I think it is something I might continue to do because I love it so much and I hope others love it as well."
