Twelve farms, orchards, an apiary and a cranberry bog welcomed the public to view their operations during Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Harvest Tour Saturday.

The event gave the public an opportunity to see first-hand the wide variety of agricultural businesses throughout St. Lawrence County.

On view were beef cattle, sheep, chickens, pigs, bees, mushrooms, hemp, vegetables, apples, cranberries and goats.

Participating producers included 8 O’Clock Ranch, Dekalb; Canton Apples; Deep Root Mushroom Farm, Madrid; Deep River Cranberries, Brasher Falls; Kaneb Orchards, Massena; Kent Family Growers, Lisbon; Martin’s Farmstand, Potsdam; Northern Limits Farm, Canton; Squeak Creek Apiaries, Brasher Falls; Trudeau Family Farm, Edwards; Yoder Farm Produce, Heuvelton; and Zufall Dairy Farm, Lisbon.
