LISBON – Lisbon Central School will consider passing $12.9 million spending plan that raises the tax levy by $72,717 at 6 p.m. April 11.
The budget would reduce spending by .28 percent or $36,105, but will increase the amount to be raised by taxes by about 2.18 percent.
If the budget is approved by the school board, it will then need approval from voters. Also on the ballot for voters this year will be one board of education vacancy. Petitions for candidates will be accepted until April 17.
