LISBON -- A Lisbon man accused of scheming at least 10 people out of $2,000 is being held without bail.
Anthony J. Jock, 31, of 36 Glebe Rd., is charged with first-degree scheming to defraud, a felony, after an investigation into reports that, during September, he defrauded at least 10 people, out of a total of nearly $2,000, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies..
He is also charged with writing a check on an account with insufficient funds.
Jock was arraigned in Canton Town Court Thursday and held without bail.
Deputies ask that anyone else who might have given Jock money for goods or services never received is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 379-2222.
Further charges are pending.
