A decaying frontal system approaching from the Great Lakes will bring a few light showers to the St. Lawrence Valley this afternoon into early tonight, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Expect highs today around 63 with a 30 percent chance of rain, mainly after 2 p.m., NWS says. Overnight lows will be around 42 with a 30 percent chance of rain.
Skies will be sunny Sunday with a high near 62, the service says.
The next chance for widespread rainfall isn`t expected until next Wednesday, forecasters say.
Temperatures through mid-week will be near seasonal norms with a brief cooldown expected Thursday and Friday.

Sunny, with a high near 62. South wind 5 to 7 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 41. South wind around 8 mph.

A chance of showers between 11am and 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 59. Southwest wind 7 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
