POTSDAM -- Toni Kennedy won the Democratic primary for a one-year unexpired term for a town council seat on Thursday.
She received 322 votes, compared to 153 for James Grant Jr. The seat became open following the death of town Supervisor Rollin Beattie who died earlier this year.
The results are unofficial and do not include absentee ballots.
