Before joining CHMC in 2016, Lele completed a clinical fellowship in hematology and medical oncology and served as a chief fellow at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, Mass.
Dr. Lele earned his MD degree at L.T.M. Medical College in Mumbai, affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India. He also holds a master’s degree in public health from Temple University in Philadelphia. His residency in internal medicine was completed at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, Mass., affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine.
During residency training, he was selected for the best teaching resident award for two years in a row. He has presented his clinical research work at numerous national meetings.
He is board certified in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
