HAMMOND — A Hammond man was jailed on numerous charges after an alleged violent domestic dispute on Conger Road Sunday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Erwin K. Bogardus, 67, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree menacing and two counts of second-degree harassment, officers said.
Bogardus allegedly grabbed the victim causing bruises and prevented the victim from leaving the residence, deputies said.
He allegedly did not allow the victim to call police and discharged a firearm on the property during the incident, deputies said.
Bogardus was arraigned in Hammond court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $1,000 bail, officers said.
