HAMMOND -- A Hammond man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated following investigation of a property-damage accident Wednesday night, according to state police.
Lonny S. Petrie, 51, was charged with aggravated DWI around 5:30 p.m. on Hutton Road, officers sad.
Police said the vehicle Petrie was operating slid through the intersection of State Route 58 and Hutton Road and exited the roadway into a ditch.
His blood-alcohol content )BAC) was reportedly .25%, officers said.
He was cited and released.
