MORRISTOWN -- Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Lake Ontario Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative (REDI) Commission will hold a meeting on Monday at 9 a.m. at the Morristown Fire Hall, 200 Morris St.
"Facilitated by a New York State Planning team, the committee will discuss current assets and risks within the Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence River shoreline communities and identify a list of priority projects tied to economic development and infrastructure. Proposed projects will be shared with the REDI Commission to ensure communities have the assistance they need to rebuild stronger and more resilient than ever," an announcement from the governor's office said. "The multi-agency task force is charged with developing a plan to strengthen infrastructure along the Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence River waterfronts while bolstering the region’s local economies."
