GOUVERNEUR — A Gouverneur woman was arrested March 12 following a burglary investigation, according to Gouverneur police.
Karen L. Geer, 49, Gouverneur, was arrested at 4:47 p.m. and charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of a firearm, officers said.
She reportedly burglarized a residence on East Main Street and stole a Ruger semi-automatic .380 caliber handgun.
Geer was arraigned at the Gouverneur Town Court and released to the supervision of probation.
