GOUVERNEUR – The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department has charged a Gouverneur man with a sex offender registery violation, first offense, a class E felony.
Sheriff’s deputies charged Daniel R. Musgrove, 44, of 224 Quarry Rd., Apt. B, after deputies said he failed to disclose to the New York State Sex Offender Registry his Facebook account information.
A press release from the sheriff’s department said Musgrove, a level 3 sex offender, had been using the Facebook page for almost two years without registering it.
Musgrove was ticketed and is scheduled to appear in Gouverneur town court at a later date.
