A hazardous weather outlook has been issue for St. Lawrence County as several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected today into tonight with localized heavy rainfall possible that could create some flooding issues, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

No main stem river flooding is expected, however, localized high rainfall rates may lead to isolated flash flooding in mountainous terrain and in urban areas with poor drainage, the service says.

There is an 80 percent chance of thunderstorms and showers today with a high of 78 expected.

Skies will clear Saturday and Sunday with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s both days, NWS says.
