Dozens of demonstrations and hands-on activities were at Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning Farm’s Open House in Canton Saturday.

The event included sheep shearing, food preservation, farm-to-school taste testing, maple house tour and planting seeds.

Information was shared on the Cornell Cooperative Extension, 4-H clubs and BOCES Ag Academy.

Popular with children who attended were petting the farm animals, milking the “Easy-Squeezy” mechanical cow, and eating maple cotton candy.
