CANTON -- TAUNY’s September Folkstore Artist Spotlight features photographs by North Country native Dorothy Badger.
The color photos, taken between 1979-2006, capture lovely views and beautiful scenes of the Northern Adirondacks and the St. Lawrence River Valley in all seasons.
Many of the scenes captured in the photographs are no longer visible due to changes in the landscape over the years, including the growth of trees that now block some of the views.
Badger has donated a large collection of her most popular images to TAUNY. The photos are available at a special price, with additional discounts for multiple copies.
The Folkstore Artist Spotlight is a special showcase of work from a local artist or group of related artists. These exhibits highlight the local living traditions of the North Country through locally-made products which are on view and for sale in The TAUNY Center.
The Folkstore Artist Spotlight Series also allows TAUNY to present a greater range of work by these local producers.
The TAUNY Center is located at 53 Main St.
