Building high pressure across Ontario will bring several cooler days to the St. Lawrence Valley, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Light northwesterly winds will allow low dewpoints to filter in the the region, and highs
will generally reach the low to mid 70s today and through the weekend, NWS says.
Expect highs today to be around 72 with an overnight low of 50, the service says. Saturday will see a high near 73 and an overnight low of 53.
The next chance for any widespread precipitation will hold off until the middle of next week.
The forecast through Thursday of next week is as follows:

Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming northeast 5 to 8 mph in the morning.

Mostly clear, with a low around 53. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Sunny, with a high near 76. Light east wind.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. Light and variable wind becoming southeast around 5 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 78. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the afternoon.
