CANTON -- Community Health Center of the North Country will receive $704,990 through the CARES Act.
Health Resources and Services Administration-funded health centers may use the awards to help communities across the country detect coronavirus; prevent, diagnose, and treat COVID-19; and maintain or increase health capacity and staffing levels to address this public health emergency, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The funding supports health centers' ability to detect, prevent, diagnose, and treat COVID-19. The awards will also help maintain or increase health center capacity and staff, HHS said.
