OGDENSBURG -- A Canton woman won the Frederic Remington Art Museum’s April Fool’s Day Ball raffle.
For every $25 contributed, donors were entered in a raffle of four prizes.
Janet Stitt from Canton won a small bronze reproduction on a wooden base of “The Mountain Man.” Eugene Jones from Potsdam won a Frederic Remington framed print of “White Wings.” Mary Arnot from Tolson, Md. won a hardcover book “Frederic Remington A Catalogue Raisonne II.” Richard Whitehead from Hammond won a one-year Pioneer museum membership.
This year’s drawing raised $2,125 in support of Education and the Eva Caten Remington Education Center, the children's museum.
